Happy Memorial Day and Thank you......

Thank you to all you veterans who served, and those who are currently serving that we might be Free.

It is the
VETERAN,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is
the VETERAN,
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the
VETERAN who
salutes the Flag,

It is
the
VETERAN
who serves
under the Flag,

God
Bless them all!!!

Makes you proud to be an AMERICAN!!!!
A special thank you to my friend Margeurite who is an angel from above, and her wonderful husband Milt who lost his arm and leg while serving our country in combat in the Vietnam War. I can't imagine living life as you do, but I am so very thankful for your sacrifice.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms in this world!
I'm so thankful to have been given yet another Mothers Day with my wonderful Mother. I'm so thankful to be able to spend the day together with her. To see her, to hear her. What a blessing it is. I don't take it for granted.
We'll have dinner with her, and I've also made one of her fav desserts (Rhubarb custard Squares) . She's really looking forward to it. I'm gonna share my pics from Connecticut with her as well while she is here. She's also looking forward to that.
I am so very thankful for my mom, for all the sacrifes she has made (and they were many), all the love she has shown us and the endless giving as well. She didn't tell us how to live, she showed us by living it herself, and she is a fine example of what it means to be not only a good human being, but a kind, patient, loving, and very giving Mother.
Thank you mom!
