Here's my new offering for TDIPT Mercantile My Welcome Doll has found a new home, but be sure to check out the Mercantile as there are lots of lovely offerings, and new mega-talented artists as well, so head over to have yourself a looksy!
Mandy, I love that blue fabric too, and I bought it some time ago, but just didn't know how I was going to use it. I think it worked out nice for her.
Mo, yes, I did needle sculp, and I am paying dearly w/ my carpal tunnel now. It is only a small pineapple, but it sure has my hands going numb at all hours of the day! No more of that for me for a while.
Hi and welcome to my blog! My name is Patty. I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother who loves creating. I am a self taught doll artist, and I have been creating my one of a kind dolls for almost 10 years now. I am honored to have had some of my work published in magazines. I have sold my dolls to customers all over the US and even as far as England and Australia! I love being able to stay home and do what I love, and I am greatful to those who love my work enough to purchase it, and come back for more! Without them, there would be no "Dogpatch Primitives". I don't forget that!
I also love animals, especially dogs. I think they are truly "mans best friend", and for those who can't or don't or won't appreciate them, well, they are really missing out ;)
I can't imagine a life without a four-legged friend close by. How boring and meaningless would that be?
My favorite thing in the world is dogs....but I also have a passion for old homes and primitive style antiques, and am fascinated by them. Oh, if only the walls of these early homes could talk, what stories they could tell.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit...I hope you'll come back often.
